Fishing adventure with master fisherman

There are a variety of fishes inhabiting the beach which includes variety of Basses, Hammour, Snapper, Shark, Rays, Sardine, Mackerel, Shrimp etc. Fishing adventure can include angling, net fishing, crabbing, plucking mussels etc.
Theyyam
The gallery was not found.The Theyyam or Theyyattam is a popular ritual dance of North Kerala, particularly now found in the traditional Kolathunadu, of the present Kannur and Kasargod districts. As a living cult with centuries old traditions, ritual and custom, it embraces almost all castes and classes of Hindu religion in this region. The term Theyyam is an esoteric form of daivam or God. It is a rare combination of dance and music and reflects important features of a tribal culture. There are around 40 KavuĀ or temples near our home where Theyyam rituals are conducted. Sargalaya Craft Village (www.sargalaya.com) Iringal (50 km)
Craft Village, Iringal showcases crafts of India. You can watch artisans making a variety of crafts. Sargaalaya, the Kerala Arts & Crafts village in Kerala is an initiative by the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala. The Village is a craft cluster that was conceptualized as a tourism destination, developed and implemented on the Responsible Tourism model. It is an initiative to put Kerala’s traditional handicrafts on the tourism trail.
Sargaalaya, the art & craft village at Iringal is designed as an initiative to put Kerala’s traditional arts & crafts on the tourism trail. The craft village is set up on 20 acres of land on the banks of the Moorad River, just 200 meters off Kozhikode Kannur National Highway near Vadakara. The craft village has 27 cottages where, a hundred or even more artisans can work. Apart from showcasing crafts & craftsmen from across Kerala, Sargaalaya has a Crafts Design & Technology development centre that provides training for craftsmen on the latest techniques of production & encourages innovation in the traditional system.
